A student studied the process by which malodorzane is produced by heating protocrud in a closed system and then releasing it into the surrounding atmosphere.
Example:
STRATEGY ALERT Gloss over unfamiliar words. Never heard of malodorzane? Note that it is being produced in this experiment and move on.
Experiment 1 The concentration of malodorzane produced by the protocrud at various temperatures was measured by determining how much aerosanizen was needed to neutralize the malodorzane (Table 1). TABLE 1 Temperature of Protocrud Aerosanizen (spritz/minute) 20°C 46–198 22.5°C 199–377 25°C 378–612 Experiment 2 The student observed that the release of gastiles, whether or not the malodorzane was counteracted by aerosanizen, produced primary and secondary jocularities. The intensity of the jocularities was measured and recorded for different durations of gastiles (Table 2). TABLE 2
Intensity of Jocularities Primary Jocularities (decibels) 40 dB 30 dB 60 dB 40 dB 19.0 120 dB 60 dB *Intensity was below measurable levels. 1.0 2.0 5.0 12.0 30 dB 35 dB —* —*
Secondary Jocularities (decibels)
Gastiles (seconds)
